Welcome to
Narragansett
Park!

Have you ever wondered what happened to Narragansett Park?
Or
perhaps you are wondering, what Narragansett Park was?
Narragansett Park was once a successful race track in Pawtucket,
RI. It was home to the Narragansett Special as well as the Rhode
Island Handicap. Such horses as War Admiral, War Relic (sons of
Man o War) as well as Seabiscuit, Whirlaway (Triple Crown Winner,
1941), Alsab, Discovery and Gun Bow ran at Narragansett.

Channel abc 6 out of Providence, RI ran a short
special about Narragansett Park recently. Thank you to Channel 6
